The first year of Coffi Dre – They say time flies when you’re having fun and the first year of Coffi Dre was just that! We can’t believe that a year has passed since we launched Coffi Dre. A lot has happened since then including launching 2 coffees, Twthill & Segontiwm, building and launching our coffee trailer, being nominated for best start-up, winning Llwyddo’n Lleol’s public vote and Lux’s Best Artisan Coffee Subscription – Wales and much more. It’s all down to our amazing customers. We literally wouldn’t be here without them.
We started with our website last year (14th of September 2021) and then moving on to Christmas Markets where we sold over 1000 bags of coffee in our first few months of trading. This told us that there was a place for Coffi Dre and spurred us on in to 2022. We attended even more markets and to date we have attended over 50 days of Markets and events with many more dates to come.
We absolutely love getting to meet and converse with our customers, the feedback is always positive not only from our consumers but also from our retail customers. Knowing that we’re putting a smile on people’s faces with our coffee really does bring us joy and all while enriching North Wales’s coffee culture.
We have also been so lucky to work with and alongside so many amazing people and businesses over the past year, it’s been a real privilege to share our experiences with them. And I feel that the small business community in north Wales is such an amazing community to be a part of. We have been inspired by so many different businesses and I do hope that we’ve returned the favour in some way!
We have a lot planned for the 2nd year of Coffi Dre including our new coffee roaster that’s currently being built for us in Turkey!
